Built for developers

Your game.
Your audience.
Your revenue.

Dove is a desktop game store and launcher built around a simple idea: the people who make the games should keep more of what they earn. No 30% floor. No opaque tiers. Just a store that treats indie developers like a partner, not a line item.

Monthly revenue €5,000
Steam

Dove
€4,250
Steam takes a flat 30% throughout. Dove's share is tiered — each bracket applies only to the revenue inside it, not your whole total:

The platform

Everything a store needs. Nothing that gets in your way.

Dove ships with the parts of a modern storefront developers actually ask for — and leaves out the parts that only exist to lock people in.

Scanned before it ships

Every build is scanned for malware before it ever reaches a player. If a scan fails, the upload is blocked — not flagged, blocked.

Cloud saves that just sync

Players pick up where they left off, on whichever machine they're at. No manual exports, no lost progress.

Friends, actually visible

See who's online, what they're playing, and jump in together — the social layer Steam built its name on, done cleanly.

Global delivery, from day one

Builds are distributed over a global CDN, so a player in São Paulo downloads just as fast as one in Berlin.

A revenue share you can plan around

One flat rate, published up front. No thresholds you'll never reach, no fine print buried in a tier chart.

Tournaments & jams with real prizes

Free-to-enter tournaments and free-to-join game jams, both with prize pools paid out directly to winners. More on that below.

Competitive play

Prize pools, without the risk sitting on Dove.

Tournaments on Dove aren't funded by us — they're funded by whoever runs them. We just make sure the money moves safely and the winner gets paid.

Free to enter. Real money on the line.

A developer, a community, or an organizer sets up a tournament and funds the prize pool themselves — say, €1,000. Players enter for free and compete.

When the tournament ends, the winner receives the pool, minus standard payment processing fees. Dove doesn't take a cut of the prize, and doesn't carry the financial risk of the payout — we just handle the transaction, securely, through the same payment infrastructure that powers developer payouts.

SET UP

Organizer funds the pool. The full prize amount is committed before the tournament opens.

COMPETE

Players join for free. No entry fee, no hidden cut taken from participants.

PAYOUT

Winner gets paid directly. Processed securely, verified identity, no manual wire transfers.

Game jams

Jams work the same way — build something, win something.

Anyone can run a game jam on Dove: set a theme, set a deadline, fund a prize pool. Developers join for free and submit their builds before time runs out.

Free to join. Judged by the organizer or the community.

A studio, a community, or an individual organizer sets up a jam — a theme, a submission deadline, and a prize pool they fund themselves, say €500. Developers join for free and submit whatever they build in the time given.

When the jam closes, winners are chosen by the organizer or by community vote and get paid out directly — the same secure payment infrastructure that powers tournament prizes and developer payouts. Dove doesn't take a cut of the pool and doesn't carry the payout risk.

SET UP

Organizer sets the theme and pool. Deadline, rules, and prize money are locked in before the jam opens.

BUILD & SUBMIT

Developers join for free. No entry fee — build within the theme and submit before the deadline.

PAYOUT

Winners get paid directly. Chosen by the organizer or community vote, processed the same secure way as tournament prizes.
